Biosketch

Meseret. M. Bazezew is a junior researcher who recently graduated with an MSc in Biostatistics from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. She earned a bachelor’s degree in statistics from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia and a master’s degree in public health from the University of Gondar, Ethiopia.

She worked as a research assistant for organizations engaged in a various health-related studies. She is interested in the application of various statistical methodologies in studies pertaining to health, including but not limited to clinical trials, survival analysis, longitudinal analysis, handling missing data techniques, and Generalized Linear Models (GLM).

She is proficient with statistical software such as STATA, R, SAS, and SPSS. She also develops an interest in data science. Currently she is involved in Biostatistical consultation at Stellenbosch University. Her goal is to use research to contribute to solving global health issues. She likes to spend her free time outdoors in nature.
